These terms apply when you register for, buy a pass or stall for, nominate for, or attend Startup Thanjavur 2026 on Saturday, 21 November 2026 at Gnanam School of Business, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The event is organised by Nerds Hive (Vetri E-Square, Muthamilaringar Kalaingar Mu Karunanidhi Arangam, New Bus Stand, Vallam Quarry Road, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu 613005) together with Gnanam School of Business ("we", "us", "the organisers"). By registering or paying you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refunds & Cancellation policy.
2. Registration and passes
Passes and stalls are sold only through startupthanjavur.in/register.html. Prices are shown in Indian rupees and exclude 18% GST (9% CGST + 9% SGST), which is added at checkout.
Student Pass (₹500 + GST): event access, exhibits, networking lunch and a certificate of participation. A valid student ID must be uploaded when registering, and the original carried to the venue.
Startup Street stall (₹3,000 + GST): one exhibition stall and two Startup passes. One stall per booking.
Online booking closes on 19 November 2026 for passes and on 18 November 2026 for stalls, or earlier if a pass sells out. Ticket limits and the number of passes per order are set by the organisers.
You must give accurate details. Names you enter are printed on the pass and the GST invoice. A pass bought with false details, or a student pass without a valid student ID, may be refused at the venue without refund.
3. Payment, invoices and delivery
Payments are processed securely by PayU (UPI, cards, net banking). We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
Payments are collected and GST tax invoices are issued by A5 Cyber Nexus Private Limited (GSTIN 33ABDCA2264K1ZT, 74, 4th Cross, Govt Staff Colony, Bharathi Nagar, MC Road, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu 613010). Add your GSTIN at checkout to receive a B2B invoice; it cannot be added after payment.
An order is confirmed only after PayU confirms the payment. Your pass (with QR code) and GST invoice are then emailed to you and can be downloaded again from your order page. Nothing is shipped physically. See delivery.
Payment links expire. If an unpaid order's link has expired, simply register again.
4. Entry to the event
Passes are personal and non-transferable. Each QR code admits the number of people on the order (a stall admits two), once each. Carry a photo ID; student pass holders must also carry their original student ID.
Screenshots or copies of a pass that has already been used will not be admitted.
The organisers may refuse entry, or ask anyone to leave, for an invalid or misused pass, unsafe or disruptive behaviour, or breach of these terms, without refund.
5. Startup Street stalls
Stall holders are responsible for their products, displays, claims and any statutory permissions their products need. Hazardous materials, open flames and illegal or misleading products are not allowed.
Tell us your power and space needs when booking. Stall positions are allotted by the organisers.
Stall holders must set up and clear their stall within the times the organisers give, and are liable for damage they cause to the venue.
6. Awards, spotlight and sponsorship
Nominating for the Startup Thanjavur Awards is free. Shortlisting and winners are decided by the organisers and their jury; decisions are final.
One-Min Startup Spotlight slots are limited and given at the organisers' discretion.
Sponsorship is agreed separately in writing; an enquiry through this website is not a contract.
7. Programme changes
Speakers, sessions, timings and the agenda may change. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund. If the event itself is cancelled or postponed by the organisers, our refund policy applies.
8. Photos, video and conduct
The event will be photographed and filmed. By attending you agree that you may appear in event photos and videos used to report on and promote Startup Thanjavur. Tell the organisers' desk on the day if you would rather not be featured prominently.
Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, discrimination and disruption are not tolerated.
9. Liability
You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your belongings. To the extent the law allows, the organisers' total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your pass or stall. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version and date at the top of this page apply to new registrations. Questions: [email protected].
